TESTIMONIALS |
Wellington & karina are very kind and
KNOW what they are doing. I really enjoyed the REIKI sessions and look
forward to taking the certification program.

I have worked with many "Energy Healers"
and what called my attention to Wellington is the fact that he sees this
kind of work as a science, instead of mysticism or superstition. His
explanations about the process of energy transfer, energetic resonance
and biophotons are enlightening to say the least.

After a REIKI session with Karina, my
puppy seems to be happier and calmer. His "problem behavior" is now
under control. I truly recommend her to all Pet lovers.

I have taken the REIKI certification
before, and decided to repeat it with Wellington and Karina. I learned
so much in two days that now I consider myself a true REIKI Master!

Many of my emotional problems faded away
after a few REIKI sessions with Karina. The best thing is that it
reflected in my body in the form of more energy, freedom from
psychosomatic pains and weight loss. Thank you very much guys!

REIKI (pronounced
ray-kee) is a gentle hands-on Japanese technique for
stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes
bio-energetic balance in humans, animals and plants.
REI - Universal
Spirit; Spiritual or Sacred
KI - Universal Energy |
|
|
This technique, developed
by Dr. Mikao Usui, is usually administered by
the "laying on of hands". There is where common
knowledge of REIKI stops. There are other dimensions of
this art not being taught today in "certification
courses". REIKI has its origins in the Japanese traditions
of Bushido, Japanese Buddhism, and energy work. Dr. Usui
himself was said to be knowledgeable in the arts of
Esoteric Buddhism, Shugendō, Samurai Teachings
(Bushido), and martial arts. |
Mikao Usui Sensei |
|
REIKI shares some similarities with Chinese
Chi Kung (Qi Gong) healing practices of energy
transfer, however it is 100% based on Japanese traditions.
Western students, much after Sensei Usui's passing, have
blended REIKI with new age teachings and incorporated the
concepts of the chackras and human aura. The traditional
USUI System, however encompasses 5 basic elements, as
follows:
- Gokai (the daily precepts)
- Kokyū hō (breathing techniques)
- Tenohira (hands-on-healing)
- Shirushi and Jumon (symbols
and mantras)
- Reiju (attunements/initiations)
So, besides being just a "hands-on-healing"
system, true REIKI is a way of life for the serious
students and practitioners. Even the term "hands-on-healing"
can be misguiding because the practitioner does NOT
necessarily have to touch the client to transfer REIKI. The hands can be kept at
a small distance from the parts being energized, and it can be
sent at a distance. Therefore REIKI
is non-invasive and requires no physical contact between
practitioner and client.
REIKI theory is based on the precept that
the subatomic "life force energy" (KI, CHI, Prana, Manna)
flows through all living beings and it is this energy that
gives us life. If one's "life force energy" is imbalanced, the
person is more likely to succumb to stress, uncontrolled
emotions, trauma, or negative mental attitudes and,
consequently, become physically sick. When the life force
energy is balanced, we are more capable of being mentally and
emotionally stable and, consequently, healthier.
A REIKI treatment feels like a wonderful
energy charge that flows through and around the client. It
treats the whole person, including the mental, emotional AND
ethereal bodies, which are the mold for the physical organism
(We DO NOT “treat” the physical body directly, this is the
job of licensed health professionals or massage therapists).
The beneficial effects of a REIKI session
include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and
wellbeing. It can also work in conjunction with all other
medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and
promote faster recovery. |
|
WHAT REIKI IS NOT |
REIKI IS NOT a form of
massage therapy.
It does not even have to include physical touching. It can be
passed from a few inches or a few thousand miles, because the
practitioner’s energy is transmitted through the “zero-point
field” or “ethereal space”, where everything is connected at a
subatomic level.
REIKI IS NOT a faith healing modality.
Although most Reiki practitioners embrace a spiritual
dimension, it has absolutely no association with religion, and
will not interfere or conflict with any belief system or
religious practice. In our practice, we work based on
the scientific principles of Quantum Physics and modern
bio-energetic theories.
REIKI IS NOT a medical or therapeutic intervention.
A Reiki practitioner never diagnoses an illness nor
prescribes substances or changes in a person's treatment that
has been established by a licensed health care professional.
REIKI IS NOT a substitute for qualified medical or
professional care.
It is, however, compatible with all medical and therapeutic
practices, whereby increasing the healing effects of
traditional medicine and can dramatically reduce the recovery
process (from surgery and major illness), thus shortening
hospital stays and length of treatment.
Studies in many hospitals and laboratories
around the globe have confirmed the beneficial effects of
REIKI and other “hands-on healing” modalities, and many
nurses and health care practitioners have learned
REIKI to improve their overall skill. |

THE SCIENCE BEHIND
REIKI |
For many thousands of years
healing through “laying on of hands” have been practiced by
different cultures around the world. Even today, when we hurt
or feel pain in some part of our bodies, the conditioned
response is to touch or hold the location in an attempt to
alleviate the pain.
A mother gently and lovely touches and caress her baby when
he/she is stressed, and this has a calming effect over the
infant. Prematurely born children, as well as adult patients
in hospitals have shown improvement and faster recovery when
given attention and being caressed by their loved ones or care
takers.
We have always asked what causes these sometimes miraculous
effects. For many years we have researched and studied the
science behind it, and we found answers not in religion or
spirituality, but in QUANTUM PHYSICS. The so-called “healing
energy” actually exists and has been measured in laboratories.
Serious laboratory studies around the globe have concluded
that each and every living creature posses a measurable
electro-magnetic energy field around their bodies. It was also
discovered that changes in the electric charges of the cells
contributed to ALL processes happening in the physical body.
Each cell is dependent on light (biophotons) to function
properly, and an imbalance in the electrical cellular activity
(incoherent exchange) can cause havoc and consequently
imbalances on the individual’s mental, emotional and physical
fields.
Researchers have concluded that a “hands-on” healing
practitioner is able to transfer some amount of subatomic
electro-magnetic energy (photon transmission) to the person
being treated, and this energy is absorbed by the receptor and
restores cellular frequencies, bringing coherence in the
exchange of light between the cells.
Every human being has the capacity to act on other
individual’s energy field to some extent, and a REIKI
practitioner is trained to harness this capacity to the
maximum, thus bringing quick and measurable changes on the
organism being treated.
If you are interested to learn more about the serious studies
conducted on Quantum Physics and biophoton transmission we
strongly suggest the book: The Field, by Lynne
McTaggart.
